Knitting Club meets at 6 p.m. every Tuesday and at 10 a.m. Friday. The club is for beginners to the most experienced knitters. Participants sit, talk, knit, sew or come with questions and materials. It is not necessary to attend every meeting.

Six-hour driving class, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11. Hosted by the Kenton School of Driving, those interested must call the school to register 874-3031. Cost is $35 per person. This class qualifies for the discount on car insurance.

The Buffalo Zoo Presents World Safari, 10:30 a.m. Saturday Sept. 18. The event combines interesting animal facts with geographic locations for a global understanding of the animal kingdom. Live animal representatives from many continents will help to illustrate the world’s colorful and exotic bio-diversity.
