Jarvis Town of Tonawanda police notified The Bee on Tuesday that a woman has been arrested in connection with fraud complaints from area residents.

Terry Lyn Jarvis, 43, of Cleveland Drive in Cheektowaga, has been charged with two counts of petit larceny and one count of scheme to defraud in the first degree in connection with what police describe as fraudulent snowplowing contracts.

She was taken into custody on Monday at her home after allegedly refusing previous requests to turn herself in. Several other jurisdictions have contacted this Police Department to follow up on similar complaints about Jarvis. The status of those cases is unknown at this time.
