Sixth- and seventh-grade girls are invited to a three-day writing workshop at Mount St. Mary Academy.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, through Friday, Feb. 24.

During the event, students will participate in sessions on short story, poetry and journalistic writing that focus on bringing fun and creativity to writing. Sessions will be taught by local poet Ken Feltges and journalist Tim O’Shei.

The workshop will be held at Mount St. Mary Academy, 3756 Delaware Ave. in Kenmore, and will include snacks and a pizza party on Friday.
