Sweet Home girls bowling loses to OP

The Sweet Home girls bowling team fell to 8-3 with a 4-3 loss to Orchard Park Thursday at Orchard Park Lanes.

Sweet Home’s “B” team won all three of its games. The Lady Panthers lost total by 74 pins, its biggest deficit of the season.

“The lanes were hooking a lot more than the girls were used to and by the time they adjusted, it was too late,” Sweet Home coach Jim Russo said.

Maddie Wahl led Sweet Home with a 203-554.

Sweet Home beat West Seneca West, 7-0, on Jan. 31 at Manor II Lanes. The Lady Panthers won total by 470 pins.

Kat Rogemoser led Sweet Home with a 235-562.

Sweet Home closed out the regular season schedule against Clarence Tuesday at Manor II Lanes, but the result was unavailable before The Bee went to press.
