Preschool Story Time will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30. For ages 3 to 5.

Toddler Time will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31. For children age 2.

The 2015 Entertainment Coupon Book is for sale at the library for $25. Proceeds go toward helping the Brighton Place Library.

The Knitting Club meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Fridays.

Baby Bounces will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesdays in October. Registration is required.

Family Storytime with Miss Emma will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays in October.

Toddler Time will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays in October.

An Author Talk with Brian Castner is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, titled “The Long Walk: A Story on War and the Life That Follows.” Castner served three tours of duty in the Middle East. In his book he addresses his wartime duty but also the toll it takes on the men and women fighting in it.

An exhibition of paintings from artist Kisha Patterson-Tanski is on display through Oct. 30 at the Brighton Place Library.

Preschool Story Time, for ages 3 to 5, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays from Oct. 28 to Nov. 18. The event features stories, finger plays, rhymes and a craft. Registration is required.

The Book Discussion Group, which meets monthly, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5. The group will be discussing “The Circle” by Dave Eggers. In December, the group will discuss “The Light Between Oceans” by M.L. Stedman. Copies may be requested from the library catalog or by calling the library at 834-7657.
