Ken-Ton Closet looking for vounteers to help move

The Ken-Ton Closet is looking for volunteers to assist May 15 and 16 as it moves supplies from its location inside the Sheridan Parkside community building, 169 Sheridan Parkside Drive, to Franklin Middle/Elementary School, 540 Parkhurst Blvd.

Five to 10 people are needed to help loading from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Sheridan Parkside location.

Volunteers are needed Saturday, May 16, at the following times:

Five to 10 people are needed to help set up and unload from 9 to 11 a.m.

Five to 10 people are needed for take-down and packing up from 3 to 5 p.m.

Two to three people are needed to help at the registration table from 10:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ten to 15 people are needed to assist families in picking out items from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One to two people are needed to help with distributing toiletries from 10:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One to two people are needed to assist with distributing school supplies from 10:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Two to three people are needed to help with serving pizza and pouring beverages from 10:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Volunteers do not have to stay all day, and even a few hours would help,” said O’Malley.
