Chamber to start KenTon-Opoly in the spring

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director
TRACEY LUKASIK

Spring is just around the corner, and the Chamber is excited to announce that KenTon-Opoly will soon begin. It is an interactive game that will bring customers to our member businesses to obtain game pieces that can be redeemed for prizes, discounts and more.

The six-week-long initiative is set to launch in May, and we are currently soliciting merchants to purchase their exclusive spot on the game board.

The idea for the game was inspired by a Lindbergh Elementary School PTA fundraiser that produced a physical board game based on the Kenmore Town of Tonawanda area. The game was available for purchase for a limited time.

Many residents bought the game for out-of-town family and friends who formerly resided in the region, as a keepsake and reminder of just how great it is to live, work and play in Ken-Ton. Sponsor spaces will sell quickly, so we encourage any Ken-Ton businesses that want to participate to contact our office without delay to claim the deed to the property they chose. First-come, first-serve.

There is a wide range of levels to choose from, including corner-space sponsors, property sponsors, coupon sponsors and instant win “Moolah” sponsors.

The Chamber is pleased to introduce a unique way to increase foot traffic for our local merchants while providing interactive fun and rewards for consumers.

Call 874-1202 or visit www.ken-ton.org for more details.

Though the Chamber works to bring consumers to businesses, we also foster business-to-business relationships and are looking forward to our March Networking and Business Mixer being held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 23, at The Jake Tavern & Grill,

3020 Delaware Ave.

Bring your business cards and mingle with

Chamber members and prospective members in a casual environment. There will be half-price drink specials, appetizers and a basket raffle to benefit

WNY Heroes.
