Businesses to join the KenTon-Opoly craze

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director
TRACEY LUKASIK

Spring has sprung, and the Chamber is giving folks added incentive to get out of the house for a chance to win prizes by visiting area merchants taking part in the first KenTon-Opoly, an interactive game that will bring customers to our member businesses to obtain game pieces that can be redeemed for prizes, discounts and more.

The six-week-long initiative is set to launch in May, and we are currently soliciting merchants to purchase their exclusive spot on the game board. Franco’s Pizza has signed on to be the exclusive “GameMaster,” and its logo will appear on all 20,000 game pieces.

Franco is a huge supporter of the community, always looking to “give back.” When he learned of the idea behind KenTon-Opoly, he didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to be a part of this unique new initiative. Other businesses that have signed up include Paula’s Donuts, Watson’s Chocolates, Brookdale Senior Living, Dashnaw Farmers Insurance Agency, Straight Up Wine & Liquors, Bob & John’s LaHacienda, Schofield Residence, AAA of WNY, PGM Jewelers, St. Amelia School and Evans Bank.

There are a few spaces left, so we encourage any Ken-Ton business that wants to participate to contact our office without delay to claim the deed to the property they choose. First come, first served. There is a wide range of levels to choose from, including corner-space sponsors, property sponsors, coupon sponsors and instant-win “Moolah” sponsors. The Chamber is pleased to introduce a unique way to increase foot traffic for our local merchants while providing interactive fun and rewards for consumers.

Call 874-1202 or visit www.ken-ton.org for more details.
