Chamber to launch KenTonOpoly game

Residents will soon be able to participate in the Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce’s interactive game called KenTonOpoly.

Individuals can obtain game pieces by making a purchase at member businesses that can be redeemed for prizes, discounts and more. The game will take place from May 21 to July 1.

After opening the game piece, a person will find a coupon and/or board piece and a mail-in entry form.

According to the Chamber, the idea for the game was inspired by a Lindbergh Elementary School PTA fundraiser that produced a physical board game based on the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda area. For a limited time, the game was available for purchase.

Some of the participating businesses include Franco’s Pizza, Watson’s Chocolates, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Farmer’s Insurance, Brookdale Senior Living, Paula’s Donuts, Kenwood Photography, Mike’s Subs, Schofield Care, Key Bank and Straight Up Liquors, among others.

Similar to the real Monopoly, if an individual collects all the “properties” of the same color, he or she will be entered to win the prize package for that monopoly.
