KVIS schedules Children’s Concert Series

The Kenmore Village Improvement Society will hold its Children’s Concert Series, a family-friendly summer event, in July and August.

According to KVIS, the event attracts families from the Kenmore Tonawanda area and from across Western New York and southern Ontario.

The free concerts take place from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. on the lawn of Kenmore Middle School. Food is available for purchase, such as pizza, beverages, a fruit cup and Anderson’s ice cream sundaes.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating. The concert restroom is located across the street at Kenmore United Methodist Church.

In case of inclement weather, the concerts will take place at the Kenmore Community Center, 135 Wilber Ave.

The series highlights many musical styles and eras from throughout the world. According to KVIS, this helps parents expose their children to the variety of musical sounds available while providing a fun, safe and entertaining environment for experiencing them.
