The doors open at 6:45 p.m., and the auction begins at 7:30 p.m. It is a $2 per person donation, and refreshments will be available.

MUSICALS — This month, The Bee will begin publishing articles about musicals being performed at high schools in the Town of Tonawanda. There will also be coverage of the upcoming musicals or music events happening in the City of Tonawanda and City of North Tonawanda.

We hope readers enjoy the stories that feature a “Broadway” production or an interesting twist to a well-known story. The stories showcase the talents of students who work diligently rehearsing for the productions for many weeks.

In the Feb. 21 edition, there will be a story about Kenmore East High School’s production of “The Wedding Singer,” which is scheduled to take place March 1-3.

We hope you consider attending a musical this season to support the students who look forward to performing for an audience. For more information, check the calendar on a school’s district website.
