‘Health System of the Future’ panel slated

Former hospital CEO Josh Luke will be the keynote speaker at the presentation and panel discussion “The Health System of the Future” from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Blue Lounge in the College Center at D’Youville College, 320 Porter Ave., Buffalo. Sponsored by the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York, “The Health System of the Future” is part of D’Youville’s Public Health Week. Career Expo set for March 22 at Niagara

Niagara University is hosting a Career Expo from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in the Gallagher Center gym, 5795 Lewiston Road, Niagara Falls. More than 75 employers will be on campus looking to hire college students, new graduates and young professionals for full-time and part-time internships and summer opportunities. $50,000 grant awarded to support SABAH

Spirited Athletes Bold At Heart Inc. will receive a check for $50,000 to support the Summer Athletes Bold At Heart Program. The funds will be used by SABAH to provide school-age children in the region with a curriculum based educational program that integrates movement with New York State Common Core Standards and life skill development. The program, which will begin its eighth season in May, improves educational, physical and social outcomes for hundreds of children challenged by disability each year.
