YWCA plans Winter walk events

On Saturday, Dec. 1, the YWCA of the Tonawandas is hosting a variety of activities starting at 10 a.m. at 49 Tremont St, North Tonawanda. Presale tickets are adult $3 and $5 at the door. For $2 children will be served donut holes, juice and hot cocoa while visiting with Mr. & Mrs. Claus. Call the YWCA of the Tonawandas at 692-5580 for more information.

Appetizer making event set at YWCA office

The YWCA of the Tonawandas will be offering a hands-on food preparation class from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3 at 49 Tremont St., North Tonawanda. Participants will learn how to prepare Canapes and finder Hors d’oeuvres out of basic products. Call 692-5580 to register.

Santa and Mrs. Claus making trip to NT church

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus are stopping at Payne Avenue Christian Church, 1459 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14. There will also be a free showing of the movie “The Christmas Story.” All youth must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 693-8685.

KVIS seeks public input at monthly meetings
