Diane C. Oship, community education coordinator

Oship Oship Diane C. Oship (nee Kopcho), 50, of Lancaster, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014.

Mrs. Oship was born in North Tonawanda on July 19, 1963, and graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1981.

She worked in human resources and accounting at several area businesses, most recently CBO Glass in Alden and Mercantile Adjustment Bureau in Williamsville.

From 1986 to 2007, she was a baton coach for North Tonawanda Community Education and from 2006 to 2011 served as the community education program coordinator.

She was also a committee secretary for North Tonawanda Young Life, a past area governor for Toastmasters International, a member of the Chapel at CrossPoint, and a computer tutor and instructor.

Mrs. Oship is survived by two sons, Matthew and Benjamin; two brothers, Dean and William Kopcho; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark, and parents, William and Helen Kopcho (nee Panek).

Funeral services were held March 3 from the Chapel at CrossPoint with arrangements by Amigone Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Young Life Buffalo North, 2130 Clinton St., Buffalo, NY 14206.
