Crafter Day will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. This event takes place the first Saturday of every month. Attendees will make a seasonal craft. For ages 6-10. Registration is required by calling the library.

A meeting of the Town of Tonawanda Public Library Board will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Kenmore branch.

The 2015 Entertainment Coupon Book is for sale at the library for $25. Proceeds go toward helping the Brighton Place Library.

The Knitting Club meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 10 a.m. to noon Fridays.

Family Storytime with Miss Emma will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays in December. It will not take place on Dec. 23. It is for children ages 1-5 and their caregivers.

Toddler Time will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays in December. It is for ages 2-4. There will be no Toddler Time on Dec. 24.

The Cardmaker's Club will meet from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. Attendees will learn various card-making techniques. Registration is required by calling the library.

Tim Graham, a sports reporter, will give a lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, titled “All About the Buffalo Bills.”

Hawk Creek will present a program titled “Tiny Talons!” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. The 30-minute program uses live birds of prey to teach children about nature. It is for students in pre-kindergarten through the second grade. Registration is required by calling the library.

A Senior Luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, titled “Gotcha! Outsmarting Phone Identity Theft.” The Brainstormers acting troupe will perform a few short skits followed by a discussion on how to protect yourself from attempts to steal your identity over the phone. This luncheon is a brown bag. The library will provide drinks and dessert.

The Book Discussion Group will meet from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3. Copies of the book may be reserved by calling the library, or by using the online request system. Registration for this group is required by calling the library. The group will be discussing “The Light Between Oceans” by M.L. Stedman.
