These activities are scheduled at the Town of Tonawanda Senior Center, 291 Ensminger Road, Tonawanda, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meals are held at noon daily for a $3 voluntary donation. Upcoming Events

A coloring group will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, in Room No. 1. Attendees can relax and exercise fine motor skills. Sign-up isn’t required.

Bingo will take place at approximately 12:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, in the cafeteria. Boards will be sold for $1 each, and all money collected will be used as prizes. Sign-up isn’t required.

A trip to the Greg Frewin Theatre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, will take place Tuesday, Sept. 19. Individuals should arrive at the Senior Center at 10 a.m. There will be a lunch buffet, and then participants can enjoy a tribute to Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond and Tom Jones. There will also be a stop at NEOB Lavender Boutique. A passport, passport card or enhanced license is required. The cost is $75. Check the office for availability.

A senior picnic, featuring Chiavetta’s chicken, is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 15. Doors will open at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon. The cost is $12 for members and $14 for nonmembers. Sign-up is taking place through Sept. 7. There will be games, and entertainment will be provided by Mike Nugent. The dinner will include a quarter-chicken, pulled pork, pasta, au gratin potatoes, tossed salad, beer, soft drinks, coffee and ice cream.
