David B. Belling, welding instructor

Belling Belling David B. Belling, 83, of North Tonawanda, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018.

Mr. Belling retired from the Orleans Niagara BOCES, where he was a vocational welding instructor. He owned and operated Expressions in Metal, where he made railings and decorative iron for many churches and homes throughout Western New York.

He was also a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean conflict.

Mr. Belling is survived by his wife, MonaLou (nee Campbell); three children, Brenda Mott and David and Andrew Belling; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Carl and Bruce Belling. He was preceded in death by one sibling, Leona Ohlrich.

A memorial service was held Jan. 27 from St. Martin Lutheran Church. Arrangements were made by the Brunner Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
