What’s Going On

BBC Band concert set for Feb. 2

A BBC Band concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in the O’Hara Performing Arts Center, 39 O’Hara Road in the Town of Tonawanda. The event is sponsored by the Cardinal O’Hara High School Alumni Association. Tickets for the concert cost $15 each and can be purchased online at www.cardinalohara.com. A cash bar is available.

Church plans ‘Soup-er Chili Night’

St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy’s “Soup-er Chili Night” is set for 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, in the parish center at Tonawanda’s Blessed Sacrament Church, 263 Claremont Ave. The event includes all-you-can-eat soup, chili, and macaroni and cheese, in addition to a dessert and beverage. Admission costs $15 per person, but there is no charge for children younger than 12.

State of the Town slated for Feb. 9

The Town of Tonawanda State of the Town address will be delivered by Supervisor Joseph Emminger at a luncheon on Friday, Feb. 9, at Classics V Restaurant, 2425 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. Registration will begin at 11:15 a.m., and the hot buffet lunch at noon. The cost to attend is $25, and reservations must be made by Tuesday, Feb. 6.
