Basket raffle slated at O’Hara High School

A “Let’s Make a Deal Basket Raffle,” sponsored by the Home School Association of Cardinal O’Hara High School, is set for Friday, Feb. 9, at 39 O’Hara Road. The doors open at 6 p.m., with raffles starting at 7 p.m. in the gym. Presale tickets cost $5 per person and include a free sheet of basket raffle tickets. Admission at the door is $5.

Kenmore Garden Club plans next meeting

The Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road. After the business meeting, Rachel Chrostowski, from WNY Land Conservancy, will speak on “Improving Our Environment.” There also will be a discussion on The Restore the Niagara River Gorge Project.

Library Board scheduled to meet

The Town of Tonawanda Public Library Board will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Kenmore Branch Library, 160 Delaware Road.

Snowflake Ball set for Feb. 17

The eighth annual North Tonawanda Mayor’s Charity Snowflake Ball will take place Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Gratwick Banquet Hall, 110 Ward Road, North Tonawanda. The event will feature an eveningofmusic,cocktailsand food, most of which is donated by local restaurants. To make reservations, call 695-8540.
