Places are still available for a spring driver education program, sponsored by Cardinal O’Hara High School, from March 12 to May 18. There will be a two-week break with no classes between March 26 and April 6.

Participants can choose from two sections:

• Section A on Monday and Wednesday will offer classroom instruction from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m., and in-car driving from either 2:30 to 4 p.m. or 4 to 5:15 p.m.

• Section B on Tuesday and Thursday will offer classroom instruction from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m., and in-car driving from either 2:30 to 4 p.m. or 4 to 5:15 p.m.

Drivers who complete the course with a passing grade of 65 or above will receive a DMV Certificate of Completion and will be eligible for an insurance reduction certificate.

The cost is $480, with a $100 deposit required and the remainder due the first day of class. A student’s permit or license is due prior to the start of class.
