Grief Support meeting slated at church

A Grief Support meeting will take place at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at First Trinity Lutheran Church, 1570 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Tonawanda. Ron Opferbeck will be speaking on “Grief and the Resurrection of Jesus.” Contact First Trinity at 835-2220 for more information.

Spaghetti dinner set at Sikora Post

The Lakeview Animal Sanctuary of Pendleton will be holding its ninth annual basket raffle and spaghetti dinner at the American Legion Sikora Post, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda, on Sunday, March 25. The event will take place at noon, and a spaghetti dinner will be available from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The price for the dinner is $10.

Spring Pops Concert planned for March 25

The American Legion Band of the Tonawandas Post 264 will present its Riviera Spring Pops Concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda. There will be a pre-concert organ performance at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $16 at Walker Bros. & Monroe Jewelers, 84 Webster St.; Mid-City Opticians, 968 Payne Ave.; and the Tonawanda Senior Center, 35 Main St. Tickets will also be available at the theatre the night of the show. Resource Hub, tax assistance available

The North Tonawanda Community Resource Hub and a free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Tax Preparation Site will be available on Wednesday, March 21, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 265 Falconer St., North Tonawanda. The hub will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and free tax preparation will run from noon to 3 p.m.
