On the water



The City of Tonawanda Police and Fire departments practice swift water rescue, led by Capt. Michael Collins and Lt. Scott Sheehan, in the Niagara River on Sunday. There were 32 divers who participated as well as three instructors and multiple agencies who assisted in the training. The diving course was taught by Dive Rescue International, which is based out of Fort Collins, Colorado.
