Synchronized swim lessons to be held

A program teaching girls synchronized swimming will be held at Town of Tonawanda pools this summer. Both residents and nonresidents are welcome to join. Girls of all ages are able to register, but they must be able to swim unassisted.

Participants will learn basic synchronized swimming skills, gain lap swim experience and build endurance. At the end of the program, the girls will compete in a competition and be able to show off their new skills in a musical routine at the annual Parents Night Show.

Lessons will take place at Brighton Pool (693-3505) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; Kenmore Pool (873-6225) from 11 a.m. to noon; and Lincoln Pool (833-7757) from noon to 1 p.m. Lessons will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays starting June 26.
