These activities are scheduled at the Town of Tonawanda Senior Center, 291 Ensminger Road, Tonawanda, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meals are served at noon daily for a $3 voluntary donation. Upcoming Events

An adult coloring group will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, in Room 1 of the senior center. The free event is an opportunity to relax, relieve stress, exercise fine motor skills and train the brain to focus. No sign-up is necessary.

Bingo at the senior center will take place at approximately 12:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, in the cafeteria. Bingo boards will be sold for $1 each, and all money collected will be used as prizes. Please do not use large bills to purchase boards. No sign-up is necessary for this event.

The senior center’s annual picnic will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, and include entertainment, games, bingo and food. Lunch will be served at noon and includes Chiavetta’s chicken, pulled pork, pasta, potatoes, salad, beer, pop, coffee and ice cream. Entertainment will be provided by Mike Nugent. Tickets cost $12 for members and $14 for nonmembers, and must be purchased by Sept. 4.
