City art show to benefit two local charities

Welke Custom Brokers USA Inc. will host and sponsor an art show for charity later this month that will benefit the Small Enterprise Alliance of WNY and Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels, two organizations focused on supporting residents in the Ken-Ton area.

The show will feature works done by members of the Kenmore and Williamsville art societies and will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, and from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at 36 Delaware St., Tonawanda, according to SEAWNY and KTMOW.

Admission to the show on Oct. 20 will cost $10 per person and include viewing of artists’ works, live music, an open bar and food catered by KTMOW. Admission to the show on Sunday will cost $5 per person and include soda and desserts made by KTMOW’s kitchen.

All tickets must be purchased at the door on show days. Presale tickets will not be available.

Proceeds from the art show will be divided evenly between SEAWNY and KTMOW. Welke Custom Brokers is sponsoring the show, covering all costs for food, drink and music.

Dan Wiles, executive director of KTMOW, expects the show to be a unique experience for all who attend.

“Excellent art to enjoy, as well as good food and drink, all create a nice night out while adding the benefit of supporting local charities,” said Wiles.
